"Sweden is going to be one of the world's first fossil-free welfare states. This requires a shift to an economy based on recycling instead of consumption. Products based on fossil fuels, such as coal and oil, must be replaced with products made from renewable raw materials, such as forests."
Carina is the leader of The Swedish Forest Industries Federation and its work. She is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences and is part of the steering committee for "Innovation in the forest industry." Carina is happy to discuss bioeconomy and how the forest industry contributes to meeting national and international climate goals. Carina is a forester and has previously worked at swedish Stora Enso and Dalakraft.
