The dark wooden facade of Sörgårdsskolan blends beautifully with
the shadows of the surrounding natural environment and, depending
on the season and the light, allows the colours to shift. The building’s
tangible airiness is maintained by rhythmically repeated small glass
partitions. Its location beside a ravine and small stream has been
taken full advantage of, each classroom having a view out over the
vista. Contemplative and peaceful.
