The total volume of pulp produced were 11.5 million tonnes a decrease compared with 2008 (12.1 million tonnes). Production of market pulp showed an decreased by 8.8 per cent to 3.7 million tonnes, and exports also showed an increase by 0.6 per cent compared to last year.
Bleached sulphate pulp accounts for 45 per cent of Sweden’s total pulp production and 54 per cent of the production is exported. The degree of integration for other grades of pulp is considerably higher.
