The campaign wood for good encourages Britons to increasingly choose wood, the only completely renewable building material.

The Wood for Good campaign aims at providing information that influences attitudes towards wood with the goal of making wood the leading material for building and interiors – where appropriate.

The campaign, which began in 2000, is a collaboration between the Swedish Forest Industries Federation and the Confederation of Forest Industries (Confor) and the Forestry Commission in the UK.

The Wood for Good campaign is complemented with
specific, directly financed subprojects carried out in cooperation
with British interest groups:

  • Wood Co2ts less
  • Wood Windows Alliance campaign
  • Timber Framed houses campaign
  • Education of the distributors
